What is Accepted

  • Capture the bio page in a color image
  • Passport is fully visible, including all corners, within the stencil frame
  • Acceptable file format: JPEG & JPG, maximum size up to 2MB
  • Parents' passport page with signature page required for minor applications

What is Not Accepted

  • Black & white or grayscale images
  • Tilted or slanted positioning of the passport
  • Grainy or low-resolution images
  • Any part of the photo or text being cut off or unreadable
  • Scanner watermarks or digital artifacts
  • Fingers covering any part of the biodata page
  • Machine-Readable Zone (MRZ) should be clear and visible

Remember: The passport must be entirely visible within the designated frame, with no edges cropped or obscured.

Photo Requirements

  • Coloured photo with a white background
  • Look directly at the camera lens with visible shoulders and unobstructed ears
  • No head coverings, no spectacles
  • Ensure face is within the circle
  • Head and chin are not cropped in the photo
  • Do not use or crop your photo from bio page

Documents for Minors (Below 18 Years)

Applicants under 18 years of age must provide additional documents along with their personal documents. All documents must be properly authorized by both parents or legal guardians.

Authorization Letter (Mandatory)

An authorization letter from both parents or legal guardians is required for all minor applicants. This letter grants permission for the minor to travel to Brazil.

Authorization Letter Requirements:

  • Must be signed by both parents or legal guardians
  • Must be notarized with notary stamp clearly visible
  • Current date must be visible on the letter
  • Notary seal and stamp must be clear and legible

Birth Certificate

A certified copy of the minor's birth certificate is required. The document must be:

  • An official, certified copy from the vital records office
  • Clearly legible with all information visible
  • In color format (scan or high-quality photo)

Mother and Father - Passport Bio Data Page

Copies of the passport biographical pages for both the minor's mother and father are required. Each passport page must include:

  • Clear, readable image of the passport bio page
  • Color format (not black and white)
  • All corners and edges visible within frame
  • Valid passport (not expired)

Statement of Non-Citizenship

A signed Statement of Non-Citizenship is required. You can download the form using the link below:
